Refunds policy

Because our products are virtual and what you are paying for is service-based, Osc Works does not provide refunds for any products or services that have been purchased.

ozCart shopping carts are a hosted solution which means that as soon as you purchase from us, we are serving you, incurring costs in staff and resources. For example, as soon as we start setting up your website you are using space on our secure servers. Our business policy is that you pay for your services in advance and are not entitled to any refunds if you change your mind and decide not to continue your website.

For similar reasons we do not give refunds on our other products (e.g. hosting, ssl certificates, logo packages, domains) either.

Some other things to note:

  • If your account has been terminated or suspended for or as a result from breaching our terms and conditions, non-payment or where a formal complaint is received, no refunds will be given.

  • Any proof of misleading or giving false information to the company or its employees, including, threatening, extortion, harassment, improper conduct, abuse, swearing or other unlawful activities will lead to automatic cancellation of your account without refund. This can be email, live chat, telephone or in any form where staff are threatened, abused or mistreated

  • Hosting only and domain customers (not shopping cart or information website customers): You can cancel your hosting at any time by submitting a ticket to the 'Hosting' department. You must fill out a form to cancel your account 14 days prior to your product/service renew date. Other requests to cancel your account are not considered official and our you will be redirected to the cancellation form to finalise your cancellation request. The cancellation form must be 14 days before your package renewal date, otherwise you will be charged for the next billing cycle. Cancellation requests received after the package renewal date will be processed, however you will not receive a refund for the current billing cycle.

  • Shopping cart customers must submit a ticket to the Ecommerce Support department to cancel their account, more than 14 days before your package renewal date (otherwise you will be charged for the next billing cycle). There are no refunds for part usage of a billing period.

  • No refunds or credit will be given if you cancel your account or downgrade to a lower package. You cannot downgrade a shopping cart package without cancelling your account and purchasing again (subject to a new setup fee). There are no refunds on the unused portion of your current month's package.

Once you have cancelled your account, no further support resources will be provided by our staff in relation to products and services on your account, including domain names, web hosting, ssl, etc. We will not engage your account in any way once your account has been cancelled.

Hosting, domain names, SSL certificates, Ecommerce, CMS, static IPs and account add-ons are non-refundable.
